crémeux French Adjective creamy (containing cream, or having the taste or texture of cream) Evening each, Firstly a huge thank you to striker42 for the heads up for this concentrate I appreciate that I may get gently chastised for reviewing a custard concentrate that is supposed to steep for 6 weeks after only a week...but, it is that good I do like a custard. I'm a huge fan of the masterpiece of kreed and was interested in trying the Drip Hacks offering after being so impressed by their Cryo range. Mixed this one up at 60/40 VG and 4mg nic. I really did intend to give this the full 6 weeks - but the smell and lick test were just so amazing, that was never gonna happen. I appreciate I may have waxed lyrical about a few concentrates recently, but Cremeaux is truly something amazingly special. It is rich, it is deep, it is creamy, it is silky and it is soft. It is already full of flavour, just such a deep taste. Maybe it will be bloody awful after 6 weeks (although I doubt it!) - but at the moment this is an absolute flavourful joy. I would be bold enough to say now if you want a custard vape for Christmas, get it now, mix it up and marvel at it Ohhhhh I want the recipe for this one:)

Glad to hear you are enjoying crèmeux ghostrider1971 . Taking things a bit further, it also acts as a great custard base to add flavours to. From the DH faceache page a few have added various fruits to it, strawberry, raspberry, banana, pineapple etc with favourable results by all reports. Me personally, I went a different road with it. I added some Flavour Art Up, which is a coffee cereal flavour which was nice enough that I squonked my way through 100ml in no time. At the moment, I have some steeping with UP and peanut butter added. It's a sort of coffee nut custard, which some folks might find the thought of but the sniff test has given me high hopes. If I can't vape it I can always smell it.

striker42 - Any thoughts on the underlying flavours, please? I'm almost getting creamy fudge today. I thought a bit of caramel yesterday. It's a very dark treacle colour from the first mix and certainly has amazing flavour

ghostrider1971, how are you finding Crèmeux with a little longer steeping ? I had a 100ml bottle put aside which had not been opened nor witnessed daylight for three months. On Saturday, being a bit fed up due to the non arrival of some parts for my new squonker, I cracked the bottle open, fresh coil, wick and had a go at it. Well, it got me more fed up having only set aside 100ml. The smooth creamy custard flavour is stunning. I have resisted the temptation to plunder the lot and have kept 50ml for the man in the red suit coming.

striker42 - Funnily enough, I chucked some more in one of my Cleito tanks last night - an absolute delight - soft and smooth and still, without a shadow of doubt, the best custard I have tried

I tried the Cremeux that some kind gentleman left me a sample of, I think it was about 6 weeks old, to be honest I found this very sweet, I was squonking with a NaRda at 1.70ohms and 20 watts. Should I try a lower build with more power?

. . . . don't hate me, I've just got round to trying my Cremeux.
Mixed I guess 2-3months ago, using a Cleito tank at 45watts . . . . . me no likey. All I can taste is artificial sweetener which leaves an unpleasant after taste in my chops - so that's a 100ml to modificate.

Perpetua - It just perfectly illustrates different strokes for different folks I still think it's the best custard I've tried my a billion miles - but then I think Cap V1 custard is closer to cat vomit than ambrosia

Hmm not too sure whether to try this or not. I was a huge fan of Bazilla Custard and Nikotickets Custard but I haven't liked a one since. Tried Grants once and thought it was frickin horrific. They've got some shortfills of it so might give it a chance but I'm veering away from Driphacks stuff lately. Their Jam Roly Poly is rank, couldn't stand their twister lolly one and the Jotuns one was like fairy friggin liquid so gave it away at the first chance I got.

dalealan - I understand this one being a crowd splitter - I think it is sweet too but much smoother, more flavourful and much creamier than any other custard I've tried. Although bear in mind as per above I'm not keen on Cap Custard Have you tried the Cryo range? I really like them and they are VERY cold - well, cold enough for me

I've been on Butter Boy from Drip Hacks the last two weeks. Steeped for four months, the rich, deep butterscotch taste is excellent. Actually preferring that to Cremèux at the minute. Cryo range ghostrider1971, nope, much as I've tried I just can't take to it.

I'll willing send you some dalealan, I bought 2 of their shortfills as I couldn't get the concentrate at the time . . . . mixed to 6mg. I've been on Butter Boy from Drip Hacks the last two weeks. I've a sample of Butter Boy kindly sent to me by tcg69, which was going to be my next try - so that's promising.
