Following my receipt of the new SXK Kayfun Prime I put it through its paces specifically comparing it to previous Kayfuns with the emphasis on flavour. I am MTL vaper 70/30 pg/vg 6mg nicotine. I have 8 liquids on the go at any one time in rotation simply because that suits me and has replaced my 30 Marlboro habit. Builds are Kanthal 0.8 – 1.3 ohms 12w – 15w . The 2 SXK clones are well engineered, easy to build if you are used to the Mini V3 and did not smell of machine oil, but I gave them a good wash anyway. Vapes very smoothly but I found the flavour to be not as good as the Mini V3, which to me is the most flavoursome of all the Kayfun family. So where does it sit with my other Kayfuns :- Equal to Kayfun Lite with bell cap, not as good as KFL with Steam Tuners “Tiny” tank but well behind the Mini V3. Conclusion – I was looking forward to the Prime, thinking same flavour as V3, 22mm configuration absolute winner, but I am disappointed simply because the flavour is not good enough.

I never got the v3 mini as it was 19mm but the reviews said it was awesome. Was really looking forward to the prime as all the reviews said it was as good as the mini. Dont think Ill bother now unless something preowned pops up. Nice little review tho thanks PS:I still love and use my V4.

I just wish they would update the V3 Mini deck to have better posts as on the prime or v5 - building can be a real faff sometimes.
Other than that, they seem to have had the design nailed back then, their later releases don't seem to offer any improvement.
