Any advice for a first time mech squonk user?

Havent read all the above so might repeat most of it.


Always check the atty on a ohm reader. Always.

I always check it after rewicking and checking post screws too.

Obviously make sure the battery is suitable for the build.

As for builds..i experiments loads. I only use single coil rda's. Get amazing flavour yet battery life is good. I use 6 wraps of 22 gauge kanthal in all my build now. (I was bit worried when someone said to try it as its so thick!). It ramps up nice and fast, hits hard with fresh battery, and after first 20 odd puffs, the vape settles into a nice and strong, but smooth flaversome vape all the way down till the battery needs swapping.

Hope you tey this build as for me its bloody perfect. Took way too much experimenting but i got there in the end.

Ni80 is the way forward with mechs. Ramps up much quicker than kanthal.
Personally i tend to stick with a single coil atty and build between 0.2 and p.3 ohms for direct lung vaping. If i fancy engaging hooligan mode and irritating the mrs more than usually i dual coil the goon at 0.12 but i wouldnt recommend doing that until you have got used to ohms law etc.
Battery doesnt last very long with that build either.
The wasp nano at 0.25 ohms gives a cracking vape. When building it make sure the cotton is quite tight in the coil or it will spit molten lava like theres no tomorrow

Experimenting with 25awg Ni80 flat wire in a pulse, at the moment running a 3id i think because it`s flat maybe a 3.5id will fit no problem ramps up quick more surface area, as yet to try in a wasp!

Simple: pick some cheap but well known brands. Some vendors should have some clearance in this holiday season
