Having real issues realeasing the cover to coil the deck seems to be on too tight it just won't unscrew (brand new out of box) any suggestions. I have tried some fairy liquid in the tiny gap between bottom and top to try and lubricate it (works well on nuts and bolts) any help much appreciated cheers

Fairy liquid didn't work all I seem to be able to do is take the glass off !

Try sticking a small screwdriver in the air slot to get some leverage and twist the chimney part.

marigold rubber gloves are you best friend in these situations For some reason, I hadn't actually thought of that! Will need to have a rummage for a pair as I think I only have the food prep type ones that I use for the dogs**t

Use anything that fits - an allen key, tip of nail scissors, whatever: I do this with my Doggy style. A sharp knife is asking for trouble though

Thin screwdriver etc. in the airflow holes and rubber band wrapped around the deck cover. Don't know this particular atty but it may be a reverse thread so try it the other way first.
