PG allergy

I used to get psoriasis in my teen age year this is this first time I have had it in years

Ive never in my life suffered with an itchy scalp before i started vaping.It all flared up with me after about 6 months and my dad has exactly the same symptons as me to.Ive tried various shampoo and cream from the doctor but none have cleared the condition up so far.I dont get on well with heavy VG or PEG mixes either as they make my throat and chest worse than PG juices.I have found the El -Toro range alot more suitable,50/50 PG/VG mixes BUT they are to expensive for me to vape long term.Im at the stage now where i just put up with it coz im certainly never going back to the fags ever again.I feel a million times better after two years vaping so now i just need to find a powerful product to get rid of this itchy,flaking scalp condition.As for the sore throat and swollen glands,i dont notice that much anymore as ive always got it going on.

i am finding that a 70/30 vg/pg split and 1 anti histamine is clearing everything up that is pg related anymore pg and it starts coming back as my whole left leg is a complete mess since i went heavy pg all the other places i have it are my psoriasis spots so i have been keeping those in check with my meds... but the only vendor which does that mix is vapology but they are not doing juice atm...vapist does it but there are times i just want a normal flavour and mixing is out of the question atm...i have tried a vg only juice but the throat hit is non exsistant and i start getting a congested chest..but i am not going back on the smellies for the sake of a rash

seems strange though that pg is only effecting my left side

Vosene shampoo is very good if you haven't already tried it...You can find it in Tesco and other supermarkets and it's unscented and relatively inexpensive.

Contains mild salicylic acid which sloughs the dead skin scalp rapidly whilst showering and gets rid of the itch and gentle enough for use thrice a week.

Many thanks for that Macca,thats one i havent tried so will give it a go.My GP said that a steroid cream may be the next step but i dont really like the sound of that at all.Ive tried loads of different coaltar shampoos which work well for a few hours but then the itching just comes rite back with avengance :'(Ive also used anti-histamine tablets which just dont seem to relieve any of my symptons at all.

I know this might be a odd question but what side of your mouth do you vape? I vape on my left side and it seems to be the left side of my neck that is affected ???

i vape on the left side as well but i am not having problem with glands just my whole left leg has come up in a rash and psoriasis has become extremely angry and inflamed ,since i cut down to 30% pg it is clearing with the help of anti histamines and creams go to 40 or 50% and it flares up again..i cannot do with less than 30% or i get no throat hit and start to crave a ciggie

Not sure if this would work at all but have you tried asking for a 100% vg mix with a few drops of extra flavour then put a few drops of vodka in it, should help kick that throat hit up a bit more for you and thin it out a bit without loosing the flavour. I'm guessing this would only work if use the mix to order people like James at paradise vape and Griz.

I also wonder if it has something to do with the work we do as well syccoe , i.e. the fact that we are leaving ourselves open to the chemicals etc in gas and oils , , I seem to have been ok ish over the last cpl of weeks with 2 of my own mixes 50/50 pg/vg , and chugging away on one of Kev's mixes which seems to be heavy ish VG . I've also just got some double base to go with my steroid creams and thats helping too

that is the problem with our line of work as everything is under pressure..even us..even a few psi and we get covered as well as the chemicals we use for cleaning etc..our job is stressful so that cannot help
