PG allergy

Used a search but can't find what I was looking for so apologies if this is listed somewhere.
Last night the left side of my neck started to ache , woke this morning with headache and my neck was swollen. By lunchtime it had gone down and an hour ago it started aching again and swell! The only thing I have done different is go from a 50/50 to PG70/30VG. Has anyone got a pg allergy and what are your symptoms I have taken a antihistamine just to be on the safe side. The only other way I can describe it is like my glands have come up .

100% PG juices set my asthma off. So I just stick with 100% VG now.

I used to vape 100% PG juices and suffered swollen glands,sore throats and very itchy skin conditions.I now vape a 50/50 PG VG mix and feel alot better for it.

I had a problem with my face and neck feeling swollen and being red/itchy/hot.

It seemed to be caused by just one particular juice It was a pity cause it was a juice I really liked

that's interesting as my scalp as also been driving me crazy for quite a while but the glands have only started since I changed these mix ratios. I think I may start to vape VG only for a while because I am wondering now whether this could be why I have been feeling rubbish for so long ???

I read that thread karma weird buy they are typical allergy symptoms my mum had them with a tablet that didn't agree with her

Ok I am now more than certain it's the pg strength I stopped vaping the stuff antihistamine s kicked in neck stopped hurting had a few chugs on that mix again and within 10 minutes neck started again back to 50/50 and I am thinking I may switch to VG only #icon_hopeless#

I've become very allergic to PG Queenie . . . it didn't start until 18 months after I started vaping either . . . unfortunately I don't get on with VG heavy mixes either, they make me very congested.

Neither do I like PEG . . . all I can taste are chemicals.

So it's a PITA . . . I'm constantly trying to keep in check, itchy red areas in my hair, ears and on my face . . . my tongue more or less feels sore all the time . . . and I've a V shaped line of raised red bumps on it, at the back.

Tis the pits perps the 50/50 is ok but I am wondering if changing to VG only would be worth a try because now I am thinking it my be the pg that has generally made me feel Losey over the past few months

You've nothing to lose by trying Queenie.

It might also be worth you checking out some Organic juices, see if they're any better for you.

Queenie, I'm trying a Liberro "PG Free" bottle of juice. It is "Island" flavour and tastes a bit fruity but not a bad flavour at all. The cough isn't as bad with the PG free, I assume it is 100% VG, and it vapes nicely.

hmmmmm me too , wonders if pg is making my psoriasis flare up , after whats been said on this thread

I did think that when you said about it Storm . . . especially if you're predisposed to suffering from it.

PG could possibly be triggering it off.
