i have a few spare stardust tips from cracked Stardusts that have been stripped down for Frankentanks. i'm not particularly keen on the plastic they are made fom and would rather have the choice of a drip tip. So I got modding: Sizing up. At the back is the prototype I made from arough bit of carto tube - it's a bit long In front are two segments of a Ritchy Era carto I ws dissecting. It's nice tube - painted, not stickered. At the front is the Stardust tip butted up against a siam Mods drip tip. I picked that one as it seems to have the longest inserty bit (where the o-ring is), so if that fits, everything else should. I decided to use the shorter bit of tube. At 20mm, I reckon that's about as short as can be got away with.

The interior of the Stardust tip has a lip (for some reason). I gently reamed this out (by running my drill in reverse) to 5.5mm. Running the drill slowly forwards winds the tip onto the drill tightly enough to use it as a lathe. With an emery board or file (faster), grind away the lip on the tip until the cut end of the carto (it's a bit narrower and very sharp) just fits over:

Slide the carto tube down as far as it will go and turn the drill to mark the plastic. With the file lathe it out gently to a notch to provide a nice seat for the tube end:

Remove the tip from the drill (by running it slowly backwards), and wipe away the dust and plastic swarf. Apply two beads of superglue as shown (to keep it away from any juice) and slide the carto tube over and into place. Allow 10 minutes to dry or, if you are messy like me, however long it takes to scrape away all the overspill and prints of superglue you spread around

Cool I don't like the uneven moulding lines up the sides of the visions mouthpiece, it's something that really bugs me. Nice idea

Thinking some more about this - you could probably just saw the tip in half, or less, and use a much shorter bit of carto tubing.
it would save faffing around with the drill too (though it would be harder to get everything aligned nicely).
Doh!

I've tried a fair few baccy flavoured juices, but nothing that really replicates the Amber Leaf.
Nice ones though are HS Impulse from Vape Escape, some from OK Smokey and some from Paradise Vape.
