Keep your micro USB ports clean

I discovered these a while ago:

They took a couple of weeks, but they have arrived and fit well the micro USB ports that most mods have. So if you want to prevent fluff and gunge in your ports, these do the job at a bargain price

Started new job on tuesday...and i was given 2 cans of these... never heard of them before but wow they work well...

I would be more worried about juice getting in through the usb; well if I used tanks that leaked I would be.

I do however use a usb plug with my sx g class; taking no chances with that.

And, if I thought a bit of a dusting with air would do it, I wouldn't mess around with expensive little cans of compressed air. I've got an air compressor in the shed .... more is better, right?

Yep, I do use the compressor's air gun to blast dry all my little atty bits and pieces after cleaning.

A few times, I use IPA in the plug to clean them.

Micro usbs are my nemesis, i loathe them.
Work ok till you jam the lead in upside down and f ck em up.
Ok its user error on my part but square peg round hole doesnt apply to the micro usb port.
Ive managed to trash 2 phones and 1 ego one battery.
Did I mention I loathe them.

They will all be USB C in a few years and they work both ways so do not despair.

Took bish's advice, now none of my mods charge. But for some reason they all look rather sleek now..

But, may i ask how you stuck that can in the hole? Still looks too big
