Also love films, tonight i watched "Surrogate", a futuristic film about a world where everyone had a robot double that lived their life for them, whilst they lay in bed. You can probably imagine the outcome!

Odd timing to bump this thread, Blue. Were you browsing for threads that were exactly one year old, or something?

I went to see Star Trek Into Darkness yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it. Total action all the way with Benedict Cumerbatch stealing the show as far as the acting goes.
I saw it in 3D as well and the 3D was used to good effect.
***SPOILER ALERT ***
Many people were moaning that this is a re-hash of the Wrath of Khan, ok the main thread is that but with enough differences to make it interesting, I enjoyed the similarities but difference of the film like Kirk going into the warp core with it's fatal implications then the scene where he dies and Spock screaming "KHANNNNN!"
Okay you could see the outcome/conclusion but the effects of the Dreadnought ship crashing were breathtaking and the CGI was very good.
All in all 9/10 for me.
