I discovered a radio station for us olduns when tuning stations on the radio in Angies new car.
www.angelradio.co.uk
They play music from the very first records up to & including the 60's.
So if you like Big Bands, Jazz, Rock n Roll, Blues & Crooners give it a listen. It's on 24/7.
In the Portsmouth area it's on FM. Also on the South Hanpshire DAB frequencies. Available anywhere on tinternet.
The station is run as a charity for the benefit of us olduns. They have lots of request programs. You can make a request by Freephone or email and it will be played. Many programs include quiz questions.
The presenters range from 16yrs old to 93.
It's very amateurish but that's part of why I like it.

I'm lucky to live in their DAB area and got a second DAB radio that's tiny so I can listen via a mono earpiece when cycling & walking. Now I'm listening, with earpiece, on the internet whilst Angie watches some yankee crime rubbish on TV. At 8 I'll be listening to the Monday Club whilst watching the football on TV. Commentary muted. lobeydosser gill2009 taz96 if any of you listen to the Monday Club tonight send a request for me. I'm smifee on there as well.
