Evening each, For the penultimate day of my half term hols, I thought I would take a trip back to the dark side of the NETs and give Tobacco Black a whirl. For starters, it seems a bit like Black Mamba to me (the thick and fruity one which is jolly nice). I'm guessing the tobacco base (a la Captain Jack and Old Captain etc) is similar but I don't get the cigar hint with this one. Tobacco Black does have an interesting twist which is the addition of liquorice. The blurb says like "liquorice papers" (an absolute staple for me back in the day). However, for me it's more like those liquorice wheels (that used to have the liquorice allsort in the middle!). Very smooth and sweet before the slight liquorice kick - the strange thing is I don't really get the NET with this one. Again, this is quite a thick vape for me. Tasty and interesting.....just don't expect the "conventional" tobacco taste as per the wonderful Burley. Usual mix for the above - 70 VG and 4 mg nic. Usual Cleito for the vape at 35w. Finally, I did dip in to a newly released NET called "Turk". After the loveliness of Desert Ship and Sultan, I had quite high hopes for this new brew. I had one tank of it and have hidden it at the back of the cupboard where I hope to never find it again. It has the strangest taste of very strong cloves to me. Not that I dislike cloves, I just don't seem to like them with tobacco! Someone else has told me they think it is oregano rather than cloves......if that makes it any better Whilst taste is most definitely subjective, if you try Turk and like it - you are more than welcome to my share of it too

Another excellent review ghostrider1971 . At the moment I have the following mixed and hidden in a dark place:- Drummer, Ritual, Old Captain, Black Fire, Space Shark and Tobacco Cream. The one that has caught my nostrils the most is Black Fire, think that could be a bit special. However, glad to say that drummer so far, has kicked thoughts of a cigarette into touch for me.

striker42 Thank you, Sir I really, really like Ritual Glad to hear the Drummer worked well too! Would you let us know about the creams when you try them, please? I would strongly recommend Burley and Black Mamba if you do another order

No problem ghostrider1971, I will attempt to impart my findings in due course. Although I may call upon gill2009 for some input on the tobacco cream, as tobacco juice is her forte. I forgot to mention, I have also taken some drummer and mixed it with Cremeux, which I shall leave for another week or so, but it does smell rather nice.

I use tobacco Black as a cure all for boring / something lacking, previously mixed baccy blends. Often chuck a few percent in and steep for a week, old juice revitalised.

I've got about 7 or 8 BCL NETs that I made 7 or 8 months ago (Am still resisting buying from them...) and this is the first one I've retried. An 8 February 2018 vintage, it seems to have lasted the test of time very, very well. It now does taste exactly like my previous weapon of choice, a liquorice roll up. The inhale for me is almost like a liquorice stick (with the slight sweetness) that you get in a sherbet fountain. On the exhale a tobacco does kick in and the liquorice goes much drier in taste. The similarity to an analogue is absolutely uncanny. Now quite glad I found 180ml at the back of the cupboard - a nice one for the colder and darker evenings me thinks
