Geekvape Aegis under power

I've got my mates aegis here and it doesn't want to kick out the power. It's strange because if I put my usual dripper on it at 65w it's absolutely fine but then other tanks like the smok v12 or a serpent rta it doesn't want to play and under powers big time. Anyone else had this problem?
I'm a bit baffled 🤔😧

I've only been using my Ijoy Limitless 25mm RDTA on mine, but not had any problems, I did just try a TFV8 on it (don't have a V12) and didn't notice any power difference at the same wattage

It's quite a strange occurrence and it's baffling me. I've tried a different battery as well but to no avail. I'm thinking there must be a bad connection inside but feel that's probably over my skill set. I might have a tinker anyway as we're running out of options 😕

I also have an aegis and never had any issues. I was going to suggest it could be the battery, although if its fine with other atties it can't be that. Its got to be an issue with the atty itself, the 510 pin is the most likely source of the problem.

I would unscrew the pin on the atty give the whole thing a good clean let it dry and reattach, make sure its all nice and tight.

Also double check the resistance is changing when switching atties. I noticed mine sometimes doesn't recognize a new atty and keeps the old resistance.

As above, I find this sometimes with various mods and always when I remove one atty, press power so that it is showing "no atomizer" or similar, then when attaching new atty usually the mod will ask for new resistance.

The resistance is showing fine. Just the power drops.
Bloody weird. I'm going to get it on my pc first as I've found out he hasn't updated it 😊👍

Remember to take the battery out as there was reports of leaving it in can brick the device.
