Kayfun Prime poor vape

Hi,
After some advice, I have a Kayfun Prime and have tried a few different builds in it.  But so far I’m getting really poor results. Currently got a 10 wrap, 0.37 kanthal, 2.5mm build in it at 1.3 ohm.  Getting zero flavour and zero throat hit, even with 24mg juice.  Got the same liquid in an Aspire Nautilus and it’s a much better vape!  Anyone any suggestions.  I’m not a beginner, been building for a few years.  But this ones got me beat at the minute!

Hmm. Try 0.3mm kanthel and about 6/7 wraps. That was my fav build in kayfuns bk when they hit my spot

Are you using it with the extension kit or without that millerc75?
I used it(Sxk clone) in the shorter mode but I managed to break the glass and now I use it with the extension kit and definitely the flavour and the throat hit changed quiet a bit.

Hi,
I have it in the shorter mode without the extension kit. It is a genuine Kayfun, but I have the extension kit (clone). Just haven’t tried it yet. Really don’t know what I’m doing wrong, guess I’ll just have to carry on trying different builds

As the bishman sez try the .3 wire.
IMO .37 is more suitable for lower builds 6 or 7 wraps around .9ish.

As the others have said, I think you are using a wire that is to thick and maybe a few too many wraps. I also think that the Prime doesn't need wire more than 0.32 28AWG. For more throat hit try lifting the coil a bit higher off the deck. Maybe try a bit more power also. Wicking as with most Kayfuns needs to be right.
