Zesticools - BCL

Afternoon all,

Zesticools is a new "traditional lemonade" flavour from BCL. Sadly not currently available in concentrate, I bought a 250ml "Bot shot" (you get a bottle with concentrate inside and a separate 10ml bottle) which I mixed up at 70 VG and 4 MG nic.

Vaped on the usual Cleito 0.4ohm on a Pico at 33.5w

Wow! This is a powerful flavour. I would guess it's one of the variants of Sicilian lemon. No added fizz and no real sensation or flavour of sweetener this is a very....errr...."zesty" taste indeed. I actually get a bit of lemon juice and a flavour of lemon rind. Very, very refreshing and a nice slightly bitter, slightly dry aftertaste.

Rather than your fizzy pop, this is the proper "squeeze lemon juice and put water in a jug" traditional lemonade. The aftertaste is very long lasting too.

I like this one very much BUT it is a very powerful flavour.

It certainly wouldn't be an all dayer for me, but a few puffs every now and then, alongside a nice tobacco and another flavour, is a very nice palate cleanser.

If you were a Masterchef judge "certainly packs a punch" would be the appropriate cliche

Finally, what an absolutely superb name for a juice

Genuinely mate, you have a knack with words. I feel your descriptions are well written enough to make me buy or not buy a juice

I would suggest if BCL were to be made aware (and a few others) of your expertise at a written review, they should be falling over themselves to supply you with some flavours free for review ghostrider1971. Reviews which I like very much, no waffle but very descriptive and straight to the point.

BCL has 2 "in house" reviewers (both who are admin on their FB page but don't work for BCL) - one who has a blog and one who has a you-tube channel. Both have a very interesting style of review.

I think the reason that I like reviewing on here is that I can be completely impartial - although I have been lucky with most of the BCL flavours I have tried, I am lucky on here that I could also express negatives as well as positives....all subjective, of course

BUT... all reviewers should be impartial!! Its obvious why some wont... but theres very few reviewers worth their weight around these days

As above like thebishman says all reviews should be independent and impartial even if given the juice / hardware for free
I will also say that i like a written review rather than a video / Y,T one for me its just better that way why i am not sure
i just prefer it that way.

I'll agree with both on the impartial reviewer thingy too. I've never watched any of the "in house" reviewers from BCL ghostrider1971, in fact I never knew they existed until you mentioned it. Whilst they are classed as "in house" this should still allow them to express their opinion without fear of a back lash, should a product not be to their liking. Surely, if a flavour is not to their liking, they can still review it, describe it and finish of with "this juice is not to my taste" or a round up of similar nature. If the description of flavour is accurate, there may well be a public following for it although it is not to the liking of the reviewer. I am a big fan of Drip Hacks concentrates but not their Cryo range, just can't go the brain numbing dentist mouth feeling it leaves, but there is a massive market for it. Having said that, the guys have listened to opinions and are now starting to produce the cryo range without the cryo, so you can enjoy the flavour without the brain freeze. Whilst you are still providing accurate and we'll balanced reviews here ghostrider1971, I don't find the need to search hours of youtube waffle to find what I'm looking for. Please do carry on sir.
