OBS Engine 2 RTA 510

Hi guys,

Got a couple of OBS engine 2 tanks today.
Both in same package both scratch codes are fine on OBS site.

The 510 pin on the tanks are different though.
Black one seems to be more like the original with a chunky pin, but the silver has a smaller pin in the deck which seems odd.

I am sure they will both work just fine, just weird as these have just come out and don't see why they would be different unless one is a revised version.

Has anyone ever noticed this on any other tanks before?

very rare that ive had 2 of the same tanks that wernt clones
had a look at the bottom of the 510 in the obs cyrus 3 ive got and its the same as the silver one mines gold incase it makes any diff

Thats cool matey and they are both authentic and doubt there are any clones knocking about yet as this was a pre order and only shipped last week.

Just an odd one, but OBS must have made a change for whatever reason.
The chunky 510 is pretty much the same on the original engine so maybe I just got a parts bin special

Both work just fine, it's purely cosmetic

Looking at the handful of reviews online, they are the same.
Black has chunky pin, silver is smaller so I guess it's normal but still does not explain why they are different

Wonder if they're sent away to a different factory for assembly due to the black being coated? Grasping at straws though as it doesn't make much sense unless they changed the 510 supplier after running a certain batch off as you've said all the online pics are showing the black and silver being different. Weird.

Could be something to do with the color although the actual bottom cap is totally different regarding the 510 section so is made that way and think other OBS tanks like the Crius use the smaller pin.

There should be some other colors coming soon, Gold, blue ect so will see which type they use. They will probably be different again
