Ok... im needing to buy a batch of batteries.
Am down to two choices... the samsung 30q 3000mah 20A and the LG HG2 3000mah 20A. So initial stats they would appear to be identical. 30Q is nearly a pound cheaper...
Would anyone know whether one would ve better than the other in real world terms? Ill be using them in mech squonker at around 0.3ohm single coil builds.
Thanks for any tips.

I have got / used both and TBH they both seem to be about the same to me .........BUT i used them in a regulated mod so not sure on the mech draw / drain so will leave this for a more experienced mech user to advise.

Split them, half Sammy and half LG. I did that last year with 30Qs and 25Rs, I reordered the 30Qs this year.
Cheers I

LG HG2 would be my choice as you will be pulling 14A from that battery on a 0.3 ohm coil and that’s too close for comfort on the Samsung 30Q which are only rated at 15A continuous discharge, where as the LG HG2 are rated at 20A continuous discharge. Been using HG2 for a long while now and they are excellent, brought from the seller below and they come supplied in the manufacture boxes and if you buy 3 sets of 2 you get the third set at 50% discount. So 6 X HG2 for £27.48 that’s £4.58 each with free plastic battery cases and free postage included. As for their authenticity. I can personally vouch for them.

VTC5A much better battery especially for unregulated and single battery mods unless you are a tottle puffer, both your choices will have significant voltage sag and on a mech or unregulated mod you would drop power quit quickly, 25R would be a better choice if you cant run to the VTC5A.
All IMO, not been keeping up to date lately but I was disappointed with the 30Qs for a DNA 60, 75 or DNA 250 dual battery vape droid, they are fine for multi battery or lower power regulated mods like DNA 40 etc.
