Does anyone on the forum have and use an RSQ 80w squonker?
I am looking for a regulated squonker and this seems to be the smallest pocket friendly one i can find.

Yep, very good squonker and about as small as you're going to get at the price range Mine have been performing without issue, if you get one then check and update the firmware to resolve a bottle illumination memory issue which meant that you had to enter settings to change colour every time you change batteries. Not sure if newer models have the latest firmware pre-installed.

I have three of them so that should hopefully say something about them. As said, Update if early firmware. Some had problems with the door magnets coming off. I put a bit of tape on mine just in case and are all still in place holding fine. TC also seems to be pretty good, and the squonk bottle light is brilliant too although takes a while to turn off. Don't think, just buy it

Mine have been mostly indoors so good as new apart from my blue one which came with a tiny chip on the corner from new. The only other con I can think of is that you have to slap the battery out of the mod which is not exactly hard to do

OK so i have ordered one of these Hotcig RSQ's.
Can anyone recommend what bottles are compatible with this device. Are any of the modmaker bottles compatible?

Yup, the bog standard bottle from Mod Maker is perfect. That's what's in mine. Wish other squonk mod were the same. The proprietory bottles are a proper pain to source and are usually a ridiculous price.

But I am still using the original bottles that came with the RSQ as they are nice bottles

So i my received my Hotcig RSQ (Black).
It was second hand from EBay but the body is in excellent condition. The original bottles were not included, the seller had installed what looks like a YFTK bottle that is incredibly super soft. Not bad you may say but the silicone tube had been cut too short so it was only 2/3rd's of the way down in the bottle and only just held on to the pin. Bummer!
Today the postie dropped off some bottles from ModMakers. They state that the bottle holds 8ml but i am skeptical about that as it looks smaller than the YFTK one and that is rated at holding 6.5ml. TBH i prefer the ModMaker bottle as it is not as soft as the YTFK one so you don't overt squonk so easily.
I must say that this thing is a tiny wee regulated squonker. Not much bigger than my Pico squeeze's so very pocket friendly. I also managed to upgrade the firmware (which wasn't as straight forward than other devices) so it now doesn't reset after every battery change.
I have paired it up for now with my VV beserker MTL RDA and it is working great with the RSQ so far. Early days but i will put it through it's pace's this weekend while i travel down to London to see the Foo Fighters.

I have been using this Mod exclusively over the last 4-5 days and it hasn't skipped a beat. I took the RSQ on the plane down to London and one thing i did notice is that squonkers don't leak like Tank setups with the pressure on the plane so that was a bonus. Although the LED light doesn't change after a battery change the screen orientation does go back so i have to flip it every battery change. Not a big deal but would have been nice if it remembered the setting. The ModMaker bottle i have been using is also spot on. Not too hard or soft. I have been topping it up using a 30ml VandyVape squonk refill bottle as i don't like the idea of having to remove the squonk bottle to refill, weakening the silicone tube and it has been effortless to refill tbh. I really didn't like the fake carbon looking decal on the battery door so i have removed it and replaced it with a different vinyl decal so it now has a bit more grip and it looks much better now imo. I may change it to a another vinyl but this will do for now. I liked using my Pico Squeeze Mods but i love using this RSQ with it being VW. This one is defo a keeper.

Managed to get the screen to stay at the correct orientation. I had the setting on the firmware updater set to left instead of right so it is all good now. I also decided to match the back of the Mod to the front with a bit of Vinyl. Kind of hides the embossed RSQ logo a bit better as i was not feeling it at all.
