Straight to the point jonny loool Well it does wind me up that people are paying good money for that crap when they can make it so much cheaper. I know mixing isn't everyone's bag but vendors selling crap at hyped up prices is disgusting imo. These people have been in it for long enough to know what a good juice is, so stop ripping people off 😳

I.o.c flavours were so weak. So tried the conc to make make them stronger. Still couldnt get on with them as i found them very bland
I think I'm probably quite hard to please on the ready made front, which is one of the reasons I got into DIY in the first place ( along with a PG sensitivity ) so I could make to a flavour strength that suited my tastes . . . . . you've only got to read the mini reviews I've posted on the pre-TPD liquids to see how few I've actually enjoyed without tweaking in some way. Yet many, many others have absolutely raved about some of these blends - something that baffles me completely.
So I've come to the conclusion that some people have taste buds considerably more sensitive than mine are ever likely to be and/or are using equipment totally different to myself.
IOC and concentrates in general are no different, suggested ratios are purely a starting point, there are very, very few that I ever make and enjoy at a ' recommended ' ratio . . . . I haven't loved all the IOC flavours by any means, but using 30% with them ( and many other popular custard/dessert oneshot concentrates ) has at least given me a flavoursome vape.
As another example, there's a particular VTA concentrate that some reckon 6% is enough, I made it at 15% . . . . . and it's about right for me. The range as a whole is considered to be ' very strong ' well not in my world of the flavours that I've so far tried.
There seems to be a reluctance, almost a shame, in these times of micro ratios to admit that they're not enjoyable for you or to experiment with higher percentages, perhaps it's a confidence thing . . . . what's the worst that can happen - it's too strong, so you just cut it back a bit. Most of us can cope with slightly less nicotine anyway.
Sorry, that turned into a bit of an essay . . . . bottom line is that we're all different and what works for some, won't for others.
