Charity bike ride

Hi Everyone,

I'm on the scrounge but it's for a good cause!

I am doing the London to Brighton bike ride in aid of the British Heart foundation on 17th June.

If anyone is able to spare a pound or 2 to sponsor this obese lump to haul his backside 54 miles on a push bike it would be massively appreciated.

This is something ive wanted to do since i lost my amazing nan to a heart attack. My brother has done it 4 times now so i do need to get my ass in gear and do it myself.

Well done for taking on the challenge mate...ill happily donate...And for the record im sure its 56miles not 54!

Oh and do you know what ditchling beacon is?

Hi everyone,

Sorry for the lack of updates on this.

Ride was completed successfully. Managed to pedal up all the hills apart from the dreaded ditchling beacon. I got half way up but decided if I pushed on it may have compromised me finishing the ride.

In total between 3 of us we raised just a few quid shy of £1000 for the british heart foundation.
