I personally think it’s a great custard concentrate, both it and Capella aren’t far off with regards to quality. I do think it needs beefing up with another custard hence why I used a small amount of Inawera In he recipe above.
But yes, don’t be shy to use this, it is excellent.

Once I've got down my current hoard of well steeped custard mixes to a more manageable level . . . . then I'm on it Richard!
I know you've seen this recipe, which also sounds rather tasty:
Could you suggest a STIXX MIXX coffee that could work as a sub?

Personally I think that Choc Full of Nuts is the best one from the Stixx Mixx range with Kona a close second. CFON would give this recipe a nutty taste too, but you’d definitely need to mix higher than 1% Perpetua

Thanks Richard . . . . I've a hankering to try this range as you've probably gathered!

Thanks I was hoping the creative one was it as it's cheaper lol That honeycomb custard has really grown on me tbh and I'm really enjoying it now 😊 Does anyone know which FA custard the flavour creative one is on chefs? It's not very obvious 🤔

No such luck lol, that's their ' standard ' custard as far as I'm aware . . . . and agreed! The more I've used it ( like the Cornflake Tart ) then the more I'm enjoying them.
