Evening each, I must confess I have been putting off a review of Sultan for sometime - I'm sure a lot of people know a lot more about it than I do and I know it's a long standing and popular juice. The blurb from the website - "A flavour that regarded as the best Turkish Tobacco your going to find" - quite a claim My Sultan was made on 10-1-18. I first tried it (70 VG, 4mg nic and 10% concentrate) after a few days (of course...!) and then after a couple of weeks. On both occasions I really enjoyed it - pretty sweet and almost a thick kind of dark fruit going on - but it was one of those "have a tank or two" and then put it away as I found it a bit sickly pretty quickly. After 5 months (forever for me in steep terms) we have a completely different animal. The sickly sweetness has really calmed down and the tobacco is coming through very nicely. Still elements of sweetness, as expected from a Turkish, but they now add a pleasant dimension rather than dominating. This is now a very smart NET - a little gloopy, a little sweet, a lot more tobacco - lovely vape aroma and just dark and delicious. For me, I still think I prefer Desert Ship (only by about 3%...) but I would heartily recommend both to tobacco fans. I know we have a lot of Sultan fans on here - anything you would add (or remove...?)?

striker42 - Thank you, Sir Bon appetit with the new flavours - I tried a bit of Sunday Gold Reserve this week - might have been a bit early for it - not sure it is a NET and seems a bit harsh after two weeks. Burley is just legendary I also really enjoy CJ and Cohibia The latest one they are ranting on about on the BCL FB group is Kenty....another one for the payday list

Super description and great review.
For me the sweetness in Sultan is like a hint of cherry liquor.
Funnily enough I rotate between Sultan and Cohibia..

Will give it a month or so. According to BCL it is one they discontinued and brought back due to popular demand?

I’ve always been a fan of BCL going way back. Tried most of them over the years. As a traditionalist I prefer a tobacco eliquid without the extras. Hence my favourites still remain Sultan, Londoner, Old Holborn and Drummer. Those I find still remain true to what they are trying to replicate. In my experience all the BCL tobaccos benefit from very long steeps, a month at the minimum, longer is better.
