It's the summer Solstice today (longest day) I feel it's all downhill from here In some ways it is rezello as the days will start to get shorter However, it looks like we are in for some lovely weather over the next few days

DaveJ I assume that Oz is like SA and doesn't really have a twighlight... some bugger just switches the lights off and light to dark in less than an hour ? Yep! The further north (like Darwin or north Queensland) the more sudden the "switch". At home, in summer, we do have a moderate length twilight ... maybe 30 minutes. Hobart (southern Tassie) has a little longer still.

I feel it's all downhill from here In some ways it is rezello as the days will start to get shorter However, it looks like we are in for some lovely weather over the next few days Ah yes I believe it will be "scorchio" @chrissie, not sure it's going to be so much fun for my 18mo twins though, nights are going to get sketchier as there's no chance of putting a fan in their room since we had to take the cot sides down already because of masons Tarzan antics! I can imagine they will be a little too interested in a fan. May have to invest in ceiling fans!
