Yes I'm very disappointed with the look of this. I've had a few larger mods and still love my drone as a desktop but this!
Proper brick!
From someone like the biker who i thought knew his stuff, this has really put him down in my estimation.

I agree about the brick like look, but as Dean has shovels for hands it would probably feel ok to him and dual battery sqonks need to be of certain size to get everything in the box. I’m told it measures 40mm square but it does look bigger than that to me.
Dean does know his stuff but we all like certain things in vaping mods, tanks, coils and the like, what suits one doesn’t mean everybody likes it, each to his own.
I find Dean very entertaining but he is only giving his opinion and you take it or leave it.

Guess I'm one of the only ones looking forward to getting this mod, a cheap dual squonker with good battery life and a cool bottle carrier, as far as looks go everyone slated the rx200 but yet it is one of the best selling mods and still selling very well today.
He set out to make a Simple mod and as far as I can see he has done exactly that.
It might not have a USB for charging but anyone who vapes with replaceable battery cells should have a decent charger even high-end and established mod manufacturers recommend to externally charge the batteries.
To be honest liking this mod for the simplicity and no confusing menus.

At £60 I wouldn't class this as a cheap dual squonker, gbox200, DTK, Avidvape Throne (should be available this weekend) are all dual battery squonkers priced sub £60. No doubt, there will be a place for the Basium in the market. I thought it was going to be something different, and it is, but for all the wrong reasons for me. Dual battery with USB charging, is a big plus for me for work. I don't have to carry batteries or a charger and can top up via USB in the cab If I don't make it home. All credit to Dean for the project, but no USB and no TC may just deter quite a few people from purchasing this. It's all about choice for the customer, in some respects, he has made that choice for them.

i might be a bit dumb but tc is only realy of use when dripping/squonking soooooo wth with no tc
no usb charging is a bit of a pain
the not normal but normal bottle holder thingy looks like idd bust it in 5 mins
the shape/size of the thing is kinda it is what is is as you cant make it much smaller

all i want is a 2 batt mod with a working tc and an easy to use normal bottle
heads up the geekvape is still a slightly stiff squonk after you have removed all the gubbins,the 510 needs a bigger hole in it

I agree, TC is a must for a squonk mod and saves breathing in all the easily possible dry hits without it.
It would be of no interest to me for that reason alone

Nope. He's came across as a bit of a dick on this. So he acknowledges that people might be disappointed with the lack of USB and his response is "tough" and for fks sake how often does he prattle on. Got tired of the constant The the the the the the the....yeah ok it's not the fkn shopping channel. Thought it was a nice looking mod until I watched the video and clicked on its square.
