well it arrived finally. on the whole id give it a 5/10 as it works (well enough) and looks pretty much like a gloom though not even close to a 1;1 imo. my main gripe is its white plastic sprayed black so aint going to stay black for ever, if it was moulded black plastic i would have been more happy with it.. oh it is a mosfet, has a sprung 510 and the silicon bottle is way to big for the mod, when you screw an atty on it crushes the bottle. Ill strip it down at the week end and have a look at what electrickery is in there. I think ill stick to making me own lol. mines the 1 in the middle.

Thanks jtc Clone report update. Took the 510 out to have a look at the wiring. screws srew directly into the plastic, not sure how it would stand upto repeated removal but being a mosfet its not like youd have to remove it to clean the contacts regulrly
wire/wiring looks suitable for purpose. proper mosfet lurking in there so deffinetly no low battery cut out/reverse polarity youd get with a switch fet. this is the bottle without an atty on. when you screw an atty home the bottle is practically flush with the bottom. then you have to get the cover/cap in and it squashes the bottle up. will try a modmakers at some point.
Also worth mentioning the alloy battery cap and assorted plugs in the base are as rough as **** and makes the mod wobble about when standing. Id sand them flat but i dont want to rub any paint of prematurely.

Got mine today - as you point out, phtumshk, bit disappointed the bottle is not a good fit - have got an Ulton Pelso V3 Style RDA to go with mine so will wait till the weekend to set it up - but if anyone comes across a bottle that fits better - be great if you gave us a heads up! I will try some of mine and post if any are better.

I cant try it as the tubing is too fat to fit the 510 but id go out on a limb and say a mm bottle will be a better fit. modmakers bottle on the right. have ordered a couple more to try.

Thanks for this, phtumshk . I tried the spare from my Luna - fitted well and is black, too, so looked good. However, decided not to use as need a spare for the (expensive!) Luna, looked for them on the web and couldn't find. Since then have been living with the bottle supplied - I cut a little off the tubing but still bulges a bit, however, works fine - must be honest I am dead chuffed with the Pelso RDA/Gloom combination - the fire button on mine is a bit tight, but otherwise seems to work like a dream, I'd go so far as to say it's one of the best cheapo plastic jobs, along with the Boxer and the Rabbit. Must say, those homemade squonks look fantastic!

other than a few personal moans about the bottle and the fact its painted plastic id go so far as to change ny original score to a 7/10. wouldnt buy another tho, christmas is coming i might treat my self to preloved original if i can find 1.

Good luck with the search, phtumshk, if I see anything in my travels I will pm you. Its funny how these things turn out though, I reckon I am impressed with it because the atty, the build in it, the juice I chose (a nice iced earl grey lemon tea) and the mod all worked so well together, first time and with no faffing (well, a little, I put too much cotton in the Pelso first time). No matter how 'objective' I try to be the halo effect of a really good experience on the first try influences how high I rate something. I've had it as one of the three setups I have on the go at home for 3 days now, and am loving it, however, I will run out of the earl gray soon so will have to try something else in it!!
