As some of you might remember from Vapefest, I've been interested in getting a pod system to use for more stealthy vapes. I planned to bag some cheap ish 18mg or make some in various flavours. My first purchase is the Rofvape Warlock peas. (peas pods?... lame ) Apologies to MyVaporStore in America. It's a super little device let down by a few curious features. 1. It charges directly into a usb hole... this is GOOD! I can charge it at work in full view of the world and people think it's a USB memory stick. 2. It makes a surprisingly decent amount of vapor for a 1.8 coil... the battery is presumably 4.2 on full charge... so a 9 watt vape. 3. Airflow and ergonomics excellent. I'm puffing on it a bit like a cigar actually (think Winston Churchill) but you can easily leave it in your mouth like fag-ash Lil. 4. Battery lasts OK and filling is easy but you WILL need needle bottles. The kit comes with a 10ml needle bottle. Charging is quick, much faster than old eGo pens. Now, the less good. 1. Sometimes I get dry hits.. (what in 2018?) and this is very not good. I have discovered if you pull the pod apart (as if you were rebuilding) they don't come back. I suspect air-lock problems. 2. The usb end cover falls off now and again. I expect to lose it soon enough. 3. It's silica... which I personally find improves the TH along with liquid much more powerful than I would normally use. When I'm done with 18mg, I might drop down to 12mg. I ordered an extra 2 packs of coils (10 altogether) and hope to get 2 weeks per 'pod' and not rebuild them. I don't vape it in the car to work or at home, so it's a sort of £1.10 pod per 2 weeks. Hardly pricey. Anyway... Next on my list is the JustFog Mini Fit. It's on it's way. It has cotton pods and they are more expensive, but if there's never a dry hit, better flavour etc. then got to be worth it. Dave.

Obviously, I don't want to leave this forum as well, so we'll leave it undiscussed. My theory is if you can rebuild, rebuild yourself. It wasn't so much the idea of NV coils, more the blatant promotion/endorsement by a certain celebrity.

Blu won't accept my review for the Blu pod system. "Oops, something went wrong" - like the lack of stars I am offering for value for money.

I've used a mi-pod, an aspire breeze2 and an aspire spryte so far, i like the concept of pod systems for stealth vape or occasional use
I think I favour the aspire spryte most? Mainly because its got a nice slim mouthpiece, it takes aspire bvc coils so its cheap to run and its set at a constant output rather than lowering power as battery runs down, so I get the same vape whatever the battery state is. I also favour the fact it can take larger pods, jumping to 3.5ml capacity if a spare is ordered from China but it is on a slant so it doesnt stand up well and the mouthpiece cover that is designed to slot to base when in use is loose, i'm bound to lose that part soon. This was the smallest battery of teh three at 650mah but I do just use it as a handbag mod when popping out for a few hours max so it fits the bill for my usage.
Mi-pod was my first buy and its a winner on size but you can't chain vape as the mouthpiece is close to coil and my one is a bit leaky... but for stealth its an absolute winner. It also lasts longer than the other two so is reliable on a full days use and 1ml of juice but power isnt constant, not that I really noticed but I kept topping battery up whenever I had access to a plug. I managed a weekend away with only this mod and had no fears of nicotine withdrawal, as long as you use a stronger nicotine to satisfy any cravings I do feel there's a place for pods in todays' modern market.
The aspire breeze is somewhere in the middle of my choice, I like its use of coils into the pod though the breeze replacement coils aren't as cheap as their bvc (that the spryte takes) It has the highest battery capacity of the three but I find the mi-pod outlasts it by almost double. A plus is that a China bought pod offers another ml capacity bringing it up to 3ml and that it offers passthrough vaping so I use it in my car a lot (plugged into usb charging) so its ready to use always but the power does drop when using and I much prefer a constant output.
