Not very sure what happened. One minute I put on a load of weight, everything was tight and swelling up and next thing I knew was a dream/nightmare and I was not sure where I was. Anyways 2 weeks passed before I started to come out of it and found myself in hospital.
It transpired that I had a Chest Infection that had stripped all oxygen from my breath and this was causing all the swelling in my muscles.
I was in hospital for a month. Been home 4 days now. Came home wheeling a Zimmer, but now on 2 sticks.
No doubt that once I see my own doctor, I will learn more about what happened to me. They tell you so little in hospital these days.

Many thanks for all you good wishes.
I suppose that if I was feeling A1 that staying in bed for a month would be torturous, but the way I was feeling last month, it was very pleasant indeed and the only place I wanted to be.
Despite having an "emergency kit" for such things as rushed hospital visits, because I was unconscious on entry, the staff found two of my ecigs and confiscated them. It was 2 weeks later before I came around and realised what had happened. However, thanks to my forward thinking, I had more in my bag and I was able to make up 2 more and use them for the my stay there.
In hospital, I do not sleep at night, but fortunately I do not sub ohm and so an "under the cover" mode can be employed. This helped me pass the nights in comfort.
Really I am feeling okay and it is only the walking that is holding me back now. That will improve in time albeit slowly. I still o not know why this happened, but I do have several docs appointments and hopefully I will learn more from these.
Thanks again.

Sorry to hear of your medical troubles lobeydosser. You've not had a good run in recent times. I sincerely hope things are well on the mend for you now. ++ I really must take your lead and sort a "just in case" kit that is ready to go. I could not face the thought of any protracted stay anywhere without some sort of basic vape available. And I sure as heck know SWMBO, whilst willing, couldn't sort out tanks, mods, juice and such in my absence.
