New Boxxer Bridge for SXK Billet Box

Being a big fan of the Billet Box so I'm thinking of getting one of these:





The claim is that they enable a BB to hold 5ml of juice and reduce condensation. On sale at several Chinese sites including Fastech for around $30. There is a video review of the original Here which is pretty fulsome in it's praise - seen somewhere that reckons it IS mainly for restricted DL - but, looking at the airflow, an MTL might be possible.

So I got a chance to play today.....

The presentation and build quality is excellent.

The first con for me is the housing you use to fire the coil won't screw right down on my tab.....the corner fouls on the lip.....but it does make connection so all good.....

Very easy to build and wick.....this is a 3mm 316L Clapton



When it came to filling there was a problem. It's natural to want to lay it down to fill, but then you have a wick hole at the bottom for your juice to run straight out. I like to leave a bit of open space in the wick holes to allow air to get in the tank. I'm wondering if this is where most of the leaking issues are coming from?

I decided to run it in my SXK until I assess the leaking issues....

It's definitely a great vape, thick and dense with good flavour. Unlike anything I've experienced from my other bridges, I have the exocet, insider and vapeshell.

Airflow is more open than anything else, but not by much. I think we're pretty much maxed out by the intake on the case. The AFC is pretty much useless, I can't tell if it's doing anything at all?

It's guzzling the juice too, down to 1/2 a tank in about half an hour.......lol.

No leaking as of yet then?

Went through the whole tank, not a drop! There is even less condensation than some of the builds in other bridges.

I'm kinda scared to refill it in situ, I think I'll take it out......

By the by I have the same Sifu B Tab as you - great little building base - so much better than the coilmaster I had that died on me in under a year!
