I want to get my Mum something easy to use so she can try vaping CBD. She'll need something with easily replaceable coils, no fiddling around with wires and wicks. I've heard that sub-ohm isn't ideal for CBD vaping as high temperatures can damage the CBD but I don't know how true that is. I've seen some people recommend the Aspire Pockex, which looks simple enough, although the coils are 0.6ohm and the wattage isn't adjustable, so I'm not sure what temperature it would operate at. The fact that the coils can be replaced without emptying the tank is nice though. www.amazon.co.uk/Aspire-Pockex-Starter-Pocket-White/dp/B01M5IKPSLHas anyone had any good/bad experiences with that product or can suggest something else that might be more suitable?

doveman I'm so sorry I can't help with this as I've had no experience with using CBD. Just hoping someone else can help.

I've got some experience using it but I'm probably doing it all wrong, so fingers crossed someone who knows what's what pops along. I've seen some CBD shops selling sub-ohm pens and promoting them as an advantage (bigger clouds, flavour) without saying anything about heat damaging the CBD, so that could be nonsense or those shops just might be clueless. I've been using a squonk mod just as a dripper, as it's very convenient to try different liquids but it doesn't have any wattage/temperature control so I could just be wasting the CBD. As I'm not actually squonking I'd probably be better off just getting a dripper to go on my box mod as at least I can drop the wattage down with that.

My sis had one - she thought it was great but she was using Ego clones and ropey clearos prior to that. It was easy to use and quite handy for filling and fitting new coils, but the battery life was not so great and the coils are quite pricey. It was killed when she broke the glass tank and apparently couldn't get a replacement. I thought it was so-so and wasn't keen on the proprietary drip tip, but she is not really as much of a vaping geek as me. You might have more success with a decent VW device and a set of clearos or stock coil tanks (e.g Innokin T18/20), keeping one specifically for CBD.
