The breeder got the date wrong about when Ruari would finish his course of inoculations So it's going to be next Saturday before I can bring him home.

He is here poor baby was stressed during the journey to his new home this morning, but I can hardly believe how quickly Ruari has settled in He purrs while playing, eating. sitting on my lap. My other 3 Maine Coons have completely accepted him, but Gracie (Spanish rescue cat) is a tad miffed at the moment. On the other hand, my rescue dog, Benito loves him to bits & that appears to be mutual

Lovely photos Chrissie!- I hope things are going well with the fluffy chap and that he's settled in with the rest of your crew. He must have grown quite a bit since your last post?

beeper he has indeed grown a lot And grown more & more mischievous :)Tha saying that "if the world was flat, cats would have knocked everything off it by now, is so true where Ruari is concerned

And the bond between him & Benito is stronger than ever

He's looking proper handsome

We've just taken on this scraggly thing, left neglected out in the streets. He's very thin but putting away 7 pouches a day so shouldn't take to long to fill out. Poor sods system was almost shutting down when we got him but its pretty cool watching him come back to life. 
Still needs his rear half shaved due to matts, get his bloods checked and also teeth looked at.

taz96 He has grown in other areas as well & they are going to be removed tomorrow I know it;s such a routine op but I'll be so glad & relieved to get the phone call to say I can bring him home
