Looking for a charger as i4 burnt out.

Hi all, gf's nitecore intellicharger i4 decided to go nuts today. We could smell something really strong burning so we went into the kitchen and it was smouldering to the point the back of it has partially melted. We noticed one of the batteries was in the wrong way around which we've accidentally done before a few times with no problem, it usually just flashes to warn you. Weird thing is she was having some flooring fitted today and the fitters power tools stopped working 20 minutes before for about 10 minutes, nothing tripped out but his circular saw and jigsaw just wouldn't work. These were being used in a different room by the way.

Anyeways new charger needed, not too expensive and suggestions appreciated.

Thanks GunJack I don't think we will get another i4. I had that version in the classifieds and had to solder to of the springs after they snapped and it's just never seemed to work consistently with charge times. GF has the newer version and that's the one that went nuts on us.

I wonder has anyone else had one of these gone nuts ?
