[Get Off My Cloud]

This site although it's a UK domain i'm 99.9% certain it's a Chinese dropshipper.

Ordered an item from there got a shipped notice by email from them 2 days after ordering but no tracking number for the parcel or anything included.

10 days later still no item delivered so emailed them told them if i didn't get my item in 48 hours i would be filing a claim for my money back from PP.

Curiously 24 hours later i get a shipping notice this time from the mail carrier and the item was delivered 2 days after that i don't know if that was just coincidental timing and my parcel happened to hit the UK just as i fired off my email or if they were actually responding to my complaint as i never got a reply from djvape just an email from the courier.

Just to be clear i don't think they are robbing anyone i did get my item eventually i just think they are being deceptive about their business and not making it clear it's a dropshipping operation.

Had i known i would have just ordered directly from China myself got the item just as quick and saved a few quid.

Partially my fault i was tired and lazy and didn't really take a good look at the site before ordering, if i had i would have noticed there is no VAT registration number on the site, no physical address and no phone number.

Done some digging now and they have a 2 star rating on Trustpilot seems i'm not alone with experiencing the long delivery times so that's why i'm almost 100% sure it's a dropshipper.

Oddly enough I had the same experience:

- 29/03/2019 - Ordered Item (Shipping method - RoyalMail 3 - 7 working days)
- 01/04/2019 - Shipping Confirmation
- 08/04/2019 - Item hasn't arrived send email to query it
- 08/04/2019 - Received reply with Royal Mail tracking number
- 09/04/2019 - Item delivered

As Get Off My Cloud mentioned I don't think they are trying to rob anyone. My main gripe is the misleading shipping times. If I wanted to order from the slow boat I know where it is!

Can it be coming drop shipped from china if its delivered with (an eventual) Royal Mail tracking number though ??

Anything I've had from Fasttech or Gearbest never came like that, though admittedly I always used the free cheapo 4 to 6 week wait option

I didn't bother looking at the envelope closely before binning it but i know it didn't have one of those plastic sleeves on with the customs declaration forms etc just a regular sticky shipping label on it.

Might be that they bulk order everything for that day's purchases on the site and have it delivered in one package to themselves and just post the individual items out themselves dunno.
