Who'd have thought it? 5 Years!!

It was my grandsons 5th birthday yesterday and it also marked the day I bought my first vape kit a Smok Aro starter kit and ego battery along with 10ml of Hangsen Blueberry and 10ml Hangsen Blackjack. Not long after I joined AAEC and posted the first of what is now several thousand posts

I still prefer "faff-free" vaping albeit I am a bit more accepting of things I used to consider "faff" - never thought I would be doing my own mixing for example; I've been down the making my own coils route and have ended up back buying premade coils and am happy with that choice and lack of faff (apart from remembering to reorder the buggers lol)    I think I have pretty much recovered from shineyitis (says she who has a pack of those disposable tanks Perpetua Mandy reviewed in her fasttech basket along with an iJust 3000mah battery to stick them on as a "anniversary pressie" to myself lol) Along the way I have accumulated more than a few different mods, tanks, drip tips, litres of nicotine, lord knows how many bottles of premade juice and concentrates, litres of DIY liquid steeping in the garage, back ups for my back ups and a dozen 18650 batteries. I'm pretty much settled with my set up - RBA's are not for me (too much faff!) so my trusty Kanger subtanks and Innokin iSub's do me fine with my Pico's on a daily basis and a couple of different options "for a change" sitting on my desk. I even have an old protank with a single silicone coil on a 20w istick in rotation with extra strong menthol as a tastebud refresher which also comes in handy when I have a stinking cold. I started with a 1.8 coil and 18mg nicotine and these days I sub ohm at 0.5 and am somewhere around 3 mg nicotine and happy to vape the odd tank of nic free. Someone on my facebook asked me was I now going to give up vaping? My answer was why would I? I still enjoy it!   heres to the next 5!!
