Hey guys im looking into getting a or some nice tanks...ive seen the ones on the modders section but i was just wondering if anyone had some sites they recommend... im after something with metal/chrome ends on it for around £20-£30 or indeed cheaper but not a vivi.

what do you mean by a vivi?? (sorry still learning the lingo lol)

If you are looking at a real custom job, Queenie and I are going to go into partnership in making custom glass ones. Also I am looking into making up some designer Batt secrions to go with them. things like a Leather and brass, Steam Punk, tough ones that if dropped it is no problem.

The siam mods ones are very well made, that's the best I've come across and they give you some spare seals which is a nice touch.

But if you punch your own cartos there is an issue which means you can't fill the tank unless you pull the top off.
It's a small problem, I just had a massive problem with almost all cartos failing and flooding no matter what cartos/tank/method of punching I used.

Then I found ego visions, a bit temperamental, but dumping yet another load of juice on my pv, no.

Sorry i meant a vivi nova tank ive only tried 2 tanks and preffer my chiba lr carto type rather than the vivi wick type..That could yet change with experience but at the mo id preffer a carto type..something custom built rather than the norm.. oh and standard size cartos

I bought a vision short wick and hated it such a tight draw so modded it with a hacksaw and still hate it lol

the long wicks V2 are much better especially the low res ones

Yeah they're pretty crap on the ego style battery, but great on a LT with 510/ego connector

oh right thats all i tried it on tbh...i have ordered a mini LT the new type v2.1 i think they are calling it.. il give it another chance...cheers womble i guess i could still be converted

Womble you talking about mk1 or 2's m8 as I have only used low res mk 2's on an ego vv battery the one with just the 3 settings and i found them really good on the middle voltage. I now have a twist and both ohms works really well which is not a sup prise really as you got more voltage control

I would also recommend the siam mods glass tanks, i have two of them and they are a great buy. Spare orings are supplied for the outer and inner of the tank.

I've only tried the V1's and they are terrible on the ego battery, no draw at all.
