DNA 60 auto locking

I have a dna 60 in a billet box clone.

the device began auto locking (5 clicks locked)  on investigation the switch was broken.

replaced switch but it was still auto locking.

after a brief web search couldnt find anything specific for the 60 but other elove boards having similar issues  could be rectified through plugging it into a pc and using the elove soft ware.

i dont have a suitable usb board to attatch for data transfer so was wondering if i could chop a usb cable in half and solder this in place to run it through the pc?.

Yes, but you need a 10 kΩ resistor if not using their charger, details are on the data sheet p11 see pin 15 www.evolvapor.com/products/dna60

i dont have any 10k resistors so i may as well get the elove charge board and give that a whirl.
