Super vague completely lacking any details, doesn't even confirm whether these kids said they had been vaping ecigs or vaporising weed or something else let alone anything more specific.

email them under complaints. Did it recently re Majid Majid claiming he had been approached in EU headquarters because he was black. As in this, totally unsubstantiated. My complaint was the standard, or lack of, any journalism on the BBC. Just sit on their arses trawling the internet. Better off with Al Jazeera.

Probably worth posting this link here: vaping360.com/vape-news/83855/lung-disease-epidemic-will-cdc-and-fda-tell-the-truth/It seems increasingly likely that the number of recent lung disease cases in the US are due to vaping of some form/s of cannabis type liquids. The article above also points out that often certain fungicides are used in illegal production that when heated produce poisonous hydrogen cyanide!! .... as well as risk from vaping oil based products of lipid pneumonia. Meanwhile vaping in general is being demonised... through lack of real clarity from FDA/CDC over these cases.... This will result in many more smoking related illnesses/deaths, by putting off smokers making the switch or even worrying vapers into returning to smoking.

Nasty business.
Not only for nic vapers with the bad publicity - but also for those directly medically affected (poisoned).
I gain the strong impression this all comes down to "blackmarket" or "underground" product produced to standards lower than necessary for human consumption. So the product contains bad compounds that are essentially poison when ingested.
I really wonder about the real merits - benefit vs cost - of the two sides: a) Ban it and deal with the resultant blackmarket underground supply OR b) legalise it and ensure the product meets basic "fit for consumption" guidelines.
YES, I know there are lots of surrounding arguments about the merits of allowing "bad" things to be made available - and this applies to all the common "party" drugs right thro to all the hardcore stuff ... BUT, hell, the resultant blackmarket stuff now is often cut with heavens knows what poison and is certainly not the way to properly sort it.
WE in Aust have the exact same issue with vaping nic. It's effectively banned. So blackmarket it is. Mostly vapers are directed toward "reputable" offshore suppliers ... but, really, it's only a matter of time before some similar trouble comes from "underground" supply of nic to raw, uneducated vapers here.
Yeah - it's a hard one and I can see both sides, sorta. But, hell, setting up an environment that encourages selling stuff laced with drain cleaner or pesticide just doesn't sit well with me - to put it mildly.
