Nearest tube stations are Warren Street, Goodge Street and Oxford Circus

We will be in the function room which is upstairs.

No vaping at the bar, which is downstairs, please.

They don't charge for use of the room but they ask that we give a donation of a minimum of £2. per person which they will give to Macmillan Cancer Support.

They do not serve food at the weekends but they are happy for us to bring in hot food if we want to.

CJ from the pub has just been in touch with me, he had a potential booking for 50 people for the upstairs room on 7th December and was asking if it would be ok for us to have our meet downstairs this time. He said that he didn't think that the vaping would be an issue.

I have said that he should accept the other booking for the upstairs room, (didn't think it was fair to expect him to lose all that custom) and that I would ask the others if they still want the meet if its downstairs, because to be honest I think that vaping downstairs would be an issue with his other customers.

What do you all think ?

I would have thought the vaping downstairs would be an issue, too. What about rescheduling instead?

Subdued vaping downstairs would probably be okay - but defeats the point of having a vape meet - so rescheduling sounds like a very good plan.

I also think that rescheduling would be best, am waiting to hear what VapingBad and Bob say though, before I get back to CJ as they were intending to be there.

Anyone got any particular preferences for dates if we do postpone ?

I have contacted CJ to see what dates he has available from 18th January onwards, and will let you all know. I thought it best to avoid the rest of December and early January.
