Help son has locked his phone

Does anyone know how to unlock a phone if you dont know the pin??

My son has decided to change the pin on his phone without telling us and he doesnt know what he changed it too now 🤬

Any idea!?

Don’t really know about Android phones but can’t you just wipe it and restore from backup? That would be iCloud for me, does Android have something like this?

Remenbered we had the google parent app (its my boys first phone) and you can do it via that
