I thought that I'd check in for the first time in a while and ask how everyone is doing in this scary new world??
I'll start....
I'm doing okay although I have to shield for 3 months due to having COPD.
I'm not even allowed to go and walk my dogs and with the nice weather atm it's totally soul destroying!
Although on the other hand I became a step-nan this morning after my fiance's daughter had a little (9lb 8oz)boy at 6.05am so I have something to smile about even if I have to rely on photos and video calls as Cherise will have to shield too for 3 months now!!

I am in much the same position winnietyson...Sadly, a dear friend died this morning...he was also a nurse, & still working! It's too close to home, & has really floored me. I am unable to pay my respects, which also is very upsetting. I'm still in shock...he was in ITU for 4 days prior to his condition deteriorating. My COPD is worsening daily...a very scary time for us all...I can only wish the very best to all  |

I'm sorry to hear about your friend!
My daughter works in a hospital and it's making my anxiety hit the roof!!
Thankfully she's not in ITU else I'd be in a constant state of panic attacks!!

He did have Covid19...he caught it at work...& his partner now has been confirmed as having the virus.
I can have oxygen when I'm struggling bish.
