when i've posted, why does time show it was posted 1 hour earlier. is it a time zone in my profile. thanks in advance, because i know you good people will set me on the right path

Just to add to Angela's very helpful post, the forum, though mainly UK, is international, hence why all members need to set their own time via their profiles If you log out, you will see that the forum time is set to the current UK time

When you're logged out, it doesn't know where you are, so it reverts to GMT which is one hour behind BST.

Sorry everyone, I thought I'd changed the forum clock to to BST, have done it now. However, you still all need to set your own profile times to show the correct time when you are logged in
