Maths help,please!

Hiya - been ^years^ since I've posted here, but can't think of a better place to ask this question:

If I have 500ml of 70/30 PG/VG liquid, and I want to make 3mg strength juice before adding flavouring, how much 72mg nicotine should I add?

I can sort of do the calculation, but maths was never my strong point and I don't want to mess this up! Please help if you can

Hi Darkginger ,

Adding 21.75ml (i.e. 22ml) of 72mg/ml nic to your 500ml of PG/VG will produce a 3mg/ml unflavoured eliquid. Note if you then are adding flavouring it will dilute the nicotine further.



ETA: (Calculated using the "Nic Combine" tool of EjuiceMeUp and trial and error of nic volume until desired combined 3mg/ml achieved)

Thanks so much! My calculations gave me a similar answer (which I shall bodge to 20ml per 500ml) but was worried I'd made some kind of error and would end up overdoing it I'm practically off the nicotine now (2 years no smoking on October 5th), but somehow like to know there's a bit in there - probably somewhere just north of 2% by the time I've added the flavours.
