New kit needed

Hi, 

I have been vaping for a few years. Currently using   Hexa Pro  with menthol hybrid nic salt pods 1.0 %.
Until recently I was a very light vaper, hour in evenings with a drink. I had noticed if I vaped more my mouth was a bit sore. Recently a bereavement has caused me to vape A lot. My mouth feels awful, sore and burnt, nothing visible. I am wondering if it is a reaction to the nic salts ( when I first started vaping, I used normal juice and did not have this reaction.) I need to move onto something else but what? I want something mild and light, can anyone advise a suitable simple kit and juice please?
I am still grieving and need the crutch but my mouth is suffering.

Hi floramac , Firstly deepest condolences on your loss.

The problems with some pod systems are lack of control over :

- flavour/e-liquid choice (I assume the pods aren't easily refilled with alternate e-liquids)
- strength (I see you are vaping the 1.0%; 10mg/ml version, which I think is the lowest of the two available pre-filled strengths)
- power (vaporising heat)
- etc.

But have advantage of simplicity and compactness.

It's hard to narrow down what you are having issues with.... the nicotine hybrid blend, or nic strength, the dilutents (PG/VG), or the menthol... as you can't easily change them in a prepacked pod refill.

Unfortunately I'm not well up on your current alternative options
What did you originally use, kit-wise?

I was using a rebuildable stardust back in 2012, with wicks and wires, Ego 900mAh Battery.
Then I stopped for a couple of years, 2017 I used Halo Tank Kit with menthol juice 0.3% and 0%.
I moved onto the hexa pro as I was vaping very little and was keen on the simplicity and the sound of the smoothness.
I have only ever used menthol juice.
It would seem as you say to be the nic salts etc is the problem. The pods are non refillable, and 1% is indeed the lowest.
