If the vast majority of concentrates (or at least a highly significant number) need to be mixed at 20%, why haven't we moved to retailing 40ml concentrates rather than 30ml? The obvious 200ml from a bottle rather than 100ml and an annoying dribble or half a bottle. Just a thought

I think (but don't know) that it may be due to standard/common bottle sizes... AFAIK a 40ml plastic bottle isn't common.
Also if a manufacturer now decided to do the sensible thing, as you suggest, and everyone didn't follow, their 40ml bottles would seem more expensive relative to 30ml competition (even if you were getting more).
.... but an interesting sensible pondering!

Living, as I do in China - the smallest size bottle for flavour concentrates from either Hello Cig , or Xi'an Taima - both on Facebook - is 120ml which works quite nicely ☯️
