Hi Ripple, Sorry to hear about your health problems. They may not have figured out exactly what is wrong, but every test helps to shed some light on the issue. All my wishes for a swift and comfortable recovery. P.S. love the sheltie pups

Thanks all, l seem to have them puzzled why does that not surprise me??? Noticed last night that the lower half of my bad leg that is numb to the touch turns white when i get in the bath which seems strange as you would expect with the heat that it would be same as other one and turn redish? have any of you heard of this before please? For what it is worth doing my Jigsaw Puzzles are easier than trying to piece this situation together Any idea's would be gratefully received. Take care of yourselves and chat soon

Ripple, I'm wondering if you have a trapped nerve? Since breaking my right wrist, my hand is sometimes really white & other times different shades of blue & purple I've been told that happens due to the nerve damage from not only the break but also from the operation to insert a metal plate.

Since breaking my right wrist, my hand is sometimes really white & other times different shades of blue & purple I've been told that happens due to the nerve damage from not only the break but also from the operation to insert a metal plate. Interesting you say that as the doc has been on about nerve damage to my back which does sort of make sense but it does not explain the damage to my knee and top of leg as that is not numb far from it my knee is on fire inside when l weight bear on it or straighten it and from there to top of leg throbs and knee and top part looks like l have slightly caught the sun but from knee down its pale and the knee is cooler than other leg only slightly though, the tabs they gave me was to relax the nerves but it made my knee so bad it was not working as the pain out did any sort of good it had done as my back only hurts if l stand for more than 30seconds but could that be because l am not standing straight? Just finished Jigsaw so it is easier than trying to work this out Thanks Chrissie it does make sense so far

Yes, the pain in your back could very well be due to you not standing straight.

Morning to you all on this fine wet day (joke ) !! I have just looked up about MRI's even though l have had one before just to see what they can actually pick up on and happy to see that all the things that could be wrong ie muscle, nerves, ligaments etc are on the list that they will find so along with the lovely Pink Roses my day is actually getting better even if its only in my outlook on all this and not the actual pain its a start so once again Thanks to you all for the continued support it really is helping keep me in the right frame of mind and keeping the depression at bay so carry on the good work pleassssssssse talk soon to you all

Ripple sorry you're still in pain. Have you considered consulting an osteopath? Yes but until l actually know what the problem is l am holding off as l already have other issues going on with health and doing the wrong thing at this stage could set me back, l have used them in the past and would have no problem once l know what we are dealing with, will let you know the outcome and thanks for the advise

I hope that they can bring it forward for you. Sometimes the waiting is the worst bit where you have no idea what is going on.
