BTW Heady, I would hang fire ordering loads of stuff for your VIP super-mini. If it is an RN4081, fewer & fewer sellers stock the parts these days as there are so many better models out there.

I've posted the RN4081 attie to you & half a dozen cartridges. The cartridges are very small so need refilling often. If the attie does fit, I've got 8 more (unopened) kicking around (plus lots of cartridges) that I'd be happy to sell to you cheaply. I bought them a while back to use @ 6v, but prefer using LR atties/cartomisers these days @ 3.7v.

TBH the VIP e-ciggie is really very good ! I get lots of vapour, a really good throat hit and a pleasant taste too, infact the VIP is better in certain areas than the brand new 510-T system that I use ! My Son was so impressed with it that he has ordered one for himself today and he had tried both of them ! Plus he had already used the 10motives disposable and the clearsmoke e-ciggie too.

This little VIP is grossly underrated and I think a lot of veteran vapers would be surprised at how good it is, personally I think that it is seen as falling into the 'cheap-rip off' category by far too many people.

But hey, I am so new to this game that I suppose nobody will really pay much heed to my opinion lol.

But if you was to suggest another product Chrissie, what would it be ? I genuinely would be very interested and respect your valued opinion on this matter.

Lol, I started out with a super-mini RN4081 over 3 years ago - yes they work OK, but battery life sucks. And VIP's version is certainly not cheap seeing as you only get one battery in the standard kits.

I'd recommend either a Riva or a big battery mod. Especially with a big battery mod, you will be able to use LR (lower resistance) cartomisers (the Boge LR cartos are fantastic & cheap). Plus the batteries are so much cheaper for big battery mods.

E cigs used to be so simple when we first started using them, weren't they Chrissie?

That reminds me, I got an email this morning from the people I bought mine from. They said they had an offer for me as a 'valued customer'! Lol. I was only valued as I bought 3 starter kits from them as they kept packing up. That's when I gave up and started smoking again. I'm surprised that company is still going - and selling the same e cigs!

Lol Fuzzy, fairly certain the model miniciggy sells is the same one Heady bought from VIP If so, the cartomisers they sell will fit fit Heady's VIP - trouble is there are no close up pics of the cartomisers to check them out.

The atomizer certainly does fit my VIP, so thanks for that, at least I now know that it is a 4081 fitting

As for the cartridges ! I had not sen anything like those before, they are tiny, lol. Jesus H Christ, a couple of good drags and they would be empty, lol.

Well I shall start looking for 4081 cartomisers especially as my Son has now ordered one. If it's ok with you, we could kill this thread and I could post up a 'wanted 4081 cartomisers' thread later if I cannot find a supplier on the net, maybe somebody out there can help me source them.

Yes, the cartridges are very small for the super-mini. From memory, Totally Wicked used to sell a larger cartridge that fitted, but not any more. As far as I know, you can't even get a drip tip that would fit a 4081.

Did you see Fuzzy's link, where she bought her first e-cig from? It looks like a 4081 & there cartomisers are a lot cheaper than VIP's.

Just in case you need it, Cloud9 has a 510 to 4081 adapter so you could use the atomisers on your 510 kit.
Alas I have never seen an adapter that goes the other way.

Just thought you might like the option.
