Welcome from me too outnumbered - like karma says you will soon notice a difference from the cig-alikes. I wouldn't worry too much about the connection - easily dealt with using an adaptor. Plus you can just get a 510 battery (e.g. Riva, eGo etc.) which will be handy as a backup. If you spend much time with karma, I predict you will soon feel the need for several backups

Well, my VGO kit arrived today Not sure if I am using it properly as the instructions were minimal but it said to put about 25 drops in the cartos around the edges and it seems to be working great. Still not clear on the carto/ atty difference as mine is a cone shape and all the videos they are thin pencil shape. However, first impressions I am very pleased.

I think the 'mega carts' could be similar to these www.vapeescape.co.uk/510-echomisers~197does that look about right? Do they have wadding in that you drip the liquid into? If so, they are the same as the 'thin pencil shaped' ones but hold more liquid and you can't condom fill them. See here allaboute-cigarettes.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=newmembers&thread=2349&page=1#74660I have some ecomisers and find that they work best if you originally fill them up over 24 hours, keep topping them up and letting them steep. that way the juice gets right into the wadding and prevents them burning. Once you've done this just top up regularly, probably have 2 on the go, top 1 up and let it soak while you use the other. Properly topped up they should last a day out and about hope you're enjoying your vaping experience

Thats the same ones Karma I was a bit confused because there is no stopper on them so I thought if I fill them ahead of time they will dry out?? Am I correct in assuming you can't use the condom method because the thread bit is elavated? One final question please and I know I cannot use this because mine is an automatic but if i was to do direct dripping with thes mega cartos, what would I need to remove. I can see the wadding and a hole is that a plastic tube? As I said everything is going great but I still want to learn as I am now looking for a back up I really appreciate your help.

You can't direct drip with the cartos you have. They shouldn't dry out filling ahead of time, it will give the juice a good chance to soak in, check before you vape and if they look a bit dry on top add a couple of drops. Stuff a tissue up onto the conector and blow through the mouth peice to make sure you don't have excess juice. you're right, you can't condom fill due to the thread being elevated These are recommended for direct dripping but you would need a 510 adapter www.vapeescape.co.uk/bauway-306-lr-atomiser~217what are you considering for a back up?

Outnumbered, you aren't going to be able to use the condom method on them as a condom wont fit - LOL, really trying not to come up with a whole lot of puns/jokes myself I've never used these type of cartomisers, but I'm sure Karma will b able to help you more with the best way to fill them Edit - crossed posts with you Karma

Karma, I assumed you coudn't direct drip with an automatic, which is what I have? I have 3 in front of me and filled 2 of them but cannot tell which ones. I know I will know once I attatch them but it would be good to know before, they all still look white inside lol
As for my back up, i did consider the sd keyring but I now am thinking something more powerful.

A quick sniff should distinguish a filled carto from an unused one
