Ego battery issue

Hi
I've got a couple of ego (not sure which but are silver with a little white button which lights up blue when pushed) batteries and I normally use the rainbow clearomisers.
Ok so the lights come on when I press the button but no nice reassuring crackle and no vapour
Any ideas or do they sound knackered. The clearomisers work fine on my lava tube btw.

Allan I'm no expert but Macca had a post on a thread about teasing the center pin up on the battery with a small screw driver very slightly you could try this I did have a look for his post but I cant find it

sounds like the centre post on the battery has been pushed down , you need to lift it preferably with a none metallic instrument , all you do is poke down the side of it and lever slightly , do this a few times working your way round and it should work again

Edit: you can use a small screwdriver but be careful not to press the fire button
