Well, Euro & the World Cup anyway.

Last WC we took it in turns, a few of us in the road, to play ' host ' to each other when England were playing.

I've a hazy recollection of extreme inebriation on that last game of England's.

I do like football and only watch the WC and the Euro and usually keep away from club level football. There is just too much of it for my liking. But this edition of the Euro just seems to be so drab and devoid of talent. I also miss the presence of South American style footie which relies on individual talent.

I suspect I will still end up watching the matches, but yesterday's Russia vs Czech Republic was unbelievably mind numbing despite 5 goals in the match.

Anyway, cricket and motorsport are what I end up watching most, something that may cause others to nod off but maybe that's because they've never faced a rock hard ball being hurled at them by a hostile bowler at 70+ miles an hour.

Well guys and gals,

I love football:)

I also like a flutter or two every now and again.

Yesterday, I backed Poland and lost my money.
Then I backed Russia and won my money back and a bit more, so happy days.

Today i'm going for Holland in one bet and Germany in another. The Holland odds arent the best, but I like the Germany odds.
Fingers Crossed, anyway.

I don't put alot of money on them, but I do find it makes the games much more interesting.


P.s I thought the Poland v Greece game was very good and as bad as the referee was, he also made it very interesting.

I lurve the footy!! Watched both of yesterdays matches. I agree Flipflop, the ref was a bit hasty in the Poland v Greece game. But I still enjoyed it. MMA
