The 1mm, you'll need more strands Chris . . . so the 2mm saves a little faff, although they'll both happily work.

I've tried dismantling them, rinsing and dry burning. But I keep getting leaks from them. One has tiny cracks on the end, but the other doesn't. I'm sure I've pushed the tube down as far as I could?
