eGo VV passthrough question

I have a 900mAh eGo passthrough so does a friend of mine who I got vaping. The question is this, the settings for the VV go from
Red - low
Purple - Mid
Blue - high

When vaping on the mid setting for some reason it can randomly jump back to the low setting. I initially thought it was due to a low battery but it has done it just after a fresh charge and it does not do it on the high setting. Has anyone experianced this too, or could hazzard a guess as to why it is happening? It happens on the two my friend has and on mine.

I've got one that does that (900mAh).
I think it's just a bit didgy, but I tend to use it on high
(4.2V) or low (3.2V) and have Riva batteries for 3.7v
so I'm not too bothered.

I am not bothered myself either, but my friend likes hers to be on the purple. I perffer the blue myself.

Ours both do that as well. It doesn't bother hubby as he likes the high setting, but I'd like to use it on the middle setting and it won't stick
