Is rinsing drip tips with hot water the right way to clean them ?

Works for me DW3. Some people like to give them a clean with alcohol wipes to keep them sanitary. A tissue or cotton bud down the inside ocassionaly keeps the inside clean too.

That's what I do dogwalker and use a kiddies paintbrush to clean the inside with a teeny bit of washing up liquid on it, then rinse again, but I use warm, not hot water in case it melts the plastic.

Warm soapy water, rinse & dry with a cotton bud. It seems to do the trick.

On my stall I have surgical wipes - cotton buds - tissues etc. With my "try before you buy" sales I have found its best to have quite a few soaking in a Milton solution and offer a fresh tip for each customer. At the end of every day the whole lot goes in for a soak !

I just rinse mine under the tap. However, think it might be an idea to give them a slosh about in some soapy water.
